Good morning all! It is Monday morning already. I feel like I just started the weekend and it is already over. LOL Well rather than having the "Oh It's Monday Morning" sluggish attitude I decided to just try and enjoy and be grateful for what God has given me.
Its funny but we tend to complain about everything in life. We complain about the day of the week, the bills, the jobs, our boss, etc... If you think about it people spend more time complaining rather than living a full life. Don't get me wrong I too have fallen into this category. LOL
If we spend our time looking at the positive rather than the negative we would live a joyful life. I know because many bumps have come my way but with that blessings have come. You see if I focus on the bad and feel life is not easy then I'd live a completely unhappy live. I have to to look at things different even though at times its not easy to look at the bright side. These are a few things I've done to help me.
- Mediate On Gods Word- I have found that mediating has given me a sound mind. At times when your doing so much its hard to think during the day because your so tired and its hard to sleep because your brain is running a mile a minute.
- Say No To More Work- I try to not add more to my plate than I have to and I have found that it has brought balance to the already overwhelming and overbooked live I lead.
- Stop worrying about the future and focus on the present- I try not to worry about the future and rather live in the present. Worrying about things that are not presently there can bring more to you and its not healthy.
- Exercise- I have found that exercise is not only healthy for you but it brings life to your mind and body. All the stress is released while exercising and your brain is full of oxygen and helps you think better. You feel as if your on top of the world after your done exercising. LOL
“When you drive around the city and come to a red light or a stop sign, you can just sit back and make use of these twenty or thirty seconds to relax — to breathe in, breathe out, and enjoy arriving in the present moment. There are many things like that we can do.” - Thich Nhat Hanh
